Performances

At SCD, our mission is to nurture the growth and expression of young people through the art and discipline of dance.

We are pleased to invite students at the Graceful Swan level through Advanced to further develop their talents by participating in performances throughout Sonoma Valley.

​

The production period—a focused time dedicated to building characters and learning choreography—is a powerful opportunity for students to grow artistically and personally. At SCD, we view this process as a way to ignite our dancers’ curiosity, creativity, joy, and compassion, while also cultivating discipline, empathy, and respect—qualities that will enrich every part of their lives.

Sonoma Conservatory of Dance puts on two major productions annually at Sebastiani Theatre in Sonoma, partners with NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet performed at Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa, as well as many more.

Through these performances, students not only share the joy of dance with our community, but also experience the profound growth that comes from commitment, collaboration, and creative expression.
